We left our hotel at 5:30 am to drive out to the Echo Bay Marina at Lake Mead
for the starting line.
After a brief sign in and orientation of rules etc. we were ready!
Our team - S.W.A.T.TSprinters Walkers and Trash Talkers 
Andrea and Steve 
We had a start time of 7:30 am.
Steve started us off.
His first kill.
Steve handed off to Andrea.
Who handed off to Jim.
Who handed off to Natalie.
Then it was my turn.
My new friend Megan. The last mile of our 1st leg was a miserably steep hill. 
I handed off to Brett.
He did great.
While Van #2 did their part, we hung out, rested, and ate In-n-Out at the next transition. It was at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort

(This was the bottom of the hill - it got steeper. A lot steeper!)
